Winter has arrived and with it, icy mornings, fog and rain (yuck right, doesn’t it just makes you want to roll over and stay in bed?!). When it comes to Winter style, it is all about being comfortable, casual yet chic and layering to stay warm. This season calls for some key investment pieces such as a coat or trench, boots and well cut jeans or leather pants. Choose pieces that are versatile and can be teamed with multiple wardrobe combinations. Coats in lighter hues like blush, camel and pastels are popular right now and provide some well needed colour and softness to the gloominess of winter. They also can transition well into spring. Another winter staple and wardrobe essential is boots, boots, boots. I’ve kind of fallen for the idea of knee high boots (see previous post here) and the ones pictured below.
