The Autumn Edit

A part from being a little disappointed with Melbourne’s relatively cool (insert ‘lame’) Summer, I do love a change of season and Autumn is one of my favourites. Autumn allows one to slow down just slightly and gradually transition from Summer to Winter, without all the gloom.

I’m loving this season’s colour palette – camel, grey and blush, lighter than previous years with lots more reference to white as a key Autumn staple. Classic prints like leopard are also more subtle, giving a classic and elegant silhouette. Asymmetrical hemlines are still on trend and perfectly suited for Autumn, adding that extra bit of length when you need it. However, one can’t go past layering, perfect for when the temperature drops, think soft trenches, light weight knits and ponchos (both featured).
