This year I’m not making sweeping resolutions, I really have just one mantra and that is ‘to live with intent’. What does that mean? It means instead of saying I want to be healthier, I’m saying does this fuel my body or have I moved my body today to make it leaner or stronger. It’s making our normal everyday actions i.e. eating, purposeful. I’m less focused on numbers (i.e. lose 10kg) but more focused on how my body feels, what my energy is like, how my skin looks and how my clothes fit. My rationale being that taking care of my health (body + mind) first will make me more productive across all areas of my life. So even though the end result should still be that I am healthier, there is a clear plan or intentions on how I’m going to achieve that. Therefore, it seems fitting that today’s style post (the first for 2015) is dedicated to being active.
