Christmas morning
My fondest memories of Christmas as a child were the traditions. From the beginning of December right up to Christmas Day my parents had a way of making Christmas magical. From putting the Christmas star on the decorated tree to seeing the Myer Christmas windows in the CBD to carols on Christmas Eve to yorkshire puddings with Christmas lunch.
Christmas morning was always my favourite. Upon waking we would get to open gifts from Santa and whilst we put together our new toys, the house would fill with the aroma of hot croissants. Ever since I can remember Christmas breakfast has always consisted of croissants and fresh fruit (and coffee when we were older). It’s a tradition I have started with my own family. Christmas morning is our time, before the hustle of the day truly begins, to be a family, to laugh and love and break ‘croissants’ together.
Wishing you all a magical Christmas and a prosperous New Year. See you in 2015!
