Broderie dress for this Spring carnival

Spring racing is in full swing, which means only one thing – it’s time to get frocked up! This year I’ve opted for a simple broderie dress that can be dressed up for the Spring carnival and then worn relaxed and carefree all Summer long. What I love most about this dress is it’s fit. It nips in at the waist, giving you a nice hourglass figure and has capped sleeves that cover your shoulders. The broderie itself, is delicate and could be mistaken for lace (a popular trend right now) and the white makes it fresh, modern and classy. Despite all the detail in the broderie, the simplicity of the dress provides you a blank canvas to embellish as you wish. I’ve opted for accessories with flare, like these heels from Jo Mercer (seriously, love at first sight) to accentuate the dress however a sandal or wedge would also pull this look together.
