14 Days to Wellness – day seven
Tempted by that morning coffee and muffin deal or afternoon chocolate run? Opt for healthy snacks prepared at home. Get into the habit of preparing your own meals and/or snacks and taking them with you. When you prepare your own meals you know exactly what you are eating – all the ingredients and how it is made. Use weekends to plan for the week ahead. Make food in bulk and divide into individual servings. Each night put your meal and snacks for the next day together (for instance, on the same shelf in the fridge), this way you can easily reach for everything in the morning. Not only will you save on unnecessary calories you will also save money.
