14 Days to Wellness – day eleven
When was the last time you switched off? The last time you did not look at your smartphone, tablet or computer at all, for a set period of time (and that doesn’t mean whilst you are sleeping)? Switching off allows you to be completely present in the moment, whether it be a conversation, a book, a meal or another activity. Let your mind and body slow down, be focused and truly present. Show your loved ones that they deserve your undivided attention. Try to commit to 30–60mins a day of no electronics. See the difference in your relationships with friends, family, your partner and kids when you are present and focused solely on them. After all, what photo, update or email can be more important than that?
